I'm in Tampa but I seem to always be at work. I'd love to meet some of you crazies. I don't think I can get anytime off before January (in fact I'm typing this from work ) I'm down for whatever though...
If anyone is up for meeting at Ale House on 60 in Brandon(less than a mile off I-75) this Saturday the 28th speak up.
I am still up for meeting this Saturday, the 28th at the Ale House for lunch. I think that make 2 of us, 3 if Bravenrace can make it.

If you ever need a hand wrenching when you're in town, let me know. Working on cars is a good solution for boredom.

Are you coming?
Agreed, tomorrow is too tight for 4 hours of driving.
Alternatively, we could do a meet and greet in Daytona.
Tommy, Is GRM doing anything at the Roar? If not, how about setting up a lunch meet somewhere near the track on Saturday the 4th?
We'll be visiting the track here and there, but aren't doing anything official. If we can get some people together, I'd be happy to meet up that weekend.
Hate that I am going to miss this one today. Hockey game tonight means an early stop in the garage, and SWMBO's (and is also GRM enough to join this party) DD is in a bazillion pieces, so I can't take the time away. Definitely interested in another one.
Well, a great time was had by all. Miller's is a nice place and has plenty of room when we get a larger crowd.
Discussions included miatas, Chumpcar, Chumpcar miatas, miata engine swaps (V8 & V6), vintage volvo engine swaps, the GRM Challenge, V8 roadsters, Coparts, Turbo 280 Zs, the Craigslist 12 step program, go karts, project motivation, and finally the next get together. We decided on Saturday, February 1st. This is a week after the Rolex 24 and the day before the Superbowl. 1 PM seemed to be a good time as the place was not crowded and there would be plenty of time afterwards if a group wanted to go kart at Tampa Gran Prix afterwards.
So, put it on your calendar now. Saturday, Feb 1 at 1 PM at Miller's Ale House.
You'll need to log in to post.
