Wha Search Engine to Locating Unicorn Vehicle for Sale

What tool are you using to locate that Unicorn Vehicle you absolutely have to buy?

Depending on what kind of vehicle you're looking for there there may be specific places you should focus on, possibly even word-of-mouth networks for some rare classics. But in general, you'll just want to use a good web search engine to cast the widest net.

For general searching I use DDG or Startpage most of the time, and if those don't turn up what I'm looking for, I try Dogpile. If that doesn't find it, it's either not online or it's blocked through robots.txt.

I'm always surprised by the number of for sale listings it brings in when I'm looking for a specific car/model year/ color

This.  All of them, including eBay, and finding forums and manually searching their for-sale ads.

That's an interesting way to game the algorithm.
