Don't have a garage. I need to buy something that runs.

Probably a bit too far for the OP, but just in case anyone else is looking...
There was something about wheelbase where some of the smaller cars were being made to run in CAM-S not CAM-T and if you are CAM-S you are against cobras and vettes (the 2 seat kit car kind)

All CAM-C restrictions apply so you need a 100inch wheelbase minimum for CAM-T the monza wheelbase is 97
And looks like it was appended originally it says here 108 for CAM-T

In reply to Jaynen:
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the 108 was a misprint or an oversight. The fox body is a hair over 100" and the whole point of the CAM-T rewrite this year was to move the Fox to CAM-T.
The Vega/Monza's wheelbase is 97 inches, so it indeed is a no-go in CAM-T at a national level.
Current CAM/T rules state that the minimum wheelbase is 100" and the minimum weight is 3000#. Small cars like Vegas, Monzas, et-al, go to CAM/S with a minimum weight of 2350# and a minimum wheelbase of 90". Two things to note, cars are classed by stock wheelbase, and that as announced mid year in Fastrack, only minor deviations in wheelbase are allowed due to geometry changes. Otherwise, engine, driveline, chassis, and suspension modifications are open.
2750lbs. with 8.8 31 spline rear, 5.3. Left room to add weight to the rear where it was needed (badly).

Yeah because someone actually modded their monza's wb to be 3 inches longer for competition and they didnt like that
Well, I'm on track to pulling 35 hours of overtime this week, looks like I'll be able to pick something up by the end of the month...

Actually, it was a Mustang II and yes someone challenged the Mustang's legality because the wheelbase rule was vague. The intention of the wheelbase rule had always been based on the car's original wheelbase but wasn't explained clearly in the rules.
In reply to mtownneon:
That is awesome, since a Mustang II has a far better chance of not sucking than a Monza.
I hope to "Bob" that they altered the wheelbase by shifting the front forward instead of moving the axle back.
Probably needs a carb rebuild, but here's a Mopar that would fit the budget.

That's a great builder's car but maybe not what he's looking for. Other than that a 2nd gen Dart is a great idea.
They're cheap, Not worth much restored, light, unibody, and 111 inch wheelbase so not too long.
