That's good advice. In 1973 a friend took me to my first weekend event at Road Atlanta, assuring me that the weather would be fine and that we could sleep in the seats of his car, if we slept at all. The temp was in the 70s when we left Macon, but once the sun went down at the track, the temps went into the high 20s.

I ended up laying on top of what was left of the campfire in my sleeping bag, praying for the icy fingers of death to take me. How I made it through the night is beyond me.

You may ask why I didn't sleep in the car with my friend. It was a '63 Corvette, and my friend was 6'4". 'Nuff said.. but I loved the event!

This is cool, if only for the looks you would get running down the road.

The Toppola Camper

I just found one for the newer hatch SAABs:

Ford E150 Chateau Van, full size rear seat folds down to a bed, 4 captains chairs, lotsa room, mine has the 351 and tow package, has made many trips to FL and GA for GRM events. Gets 17 mpg without the trailer about 14 loaded.

I put 30K on it over the last 12 months

I dig the eurovan and want one very much, BUT.

I still think the first answer is the best one.
