I live in Florida, and while the current generation of the Corolla MAY be popular, I don't see all that many of them.
I would think it is just as likely that the F-150 and Silverado are just as popular.
It's not wrong ... at a light today, three of them:

I'm a little surprised the map shows Silverado for Minnesota - there are a lot of them around, but it seems like I see more Fords.
Go up North and Ford's are rare. That due to Iron mining. Even though relatively few work for the Iron mining industry there is a lot of loyalty for Chevy's steel body's over Fords Aluminum.
It doesn't make sense to me. Minnesota is the capitol of the rust belt. You'd think Fords aluminum body would be more attractive but it's not.

Everything about this map is depressing.
Why? Does it matter to you what other people drive?
On an individual level, no. On a zeitgeist level, it's a little melancholic. On the other hand, trucks are tools, and nobody else makes pickups worth a damn, so statistically it makes sense.
But also. Rav4? Eh??
If they included fleet sales, I bet the numbers would shift quite a bit.

At least Indiana got it right
My Silverado was built (finished) in Fort Wayne, IN. A coincidence?
I'm the demographic, just ordered my new f150, may even get it this year.
