Hi
What is your pick for a GoPro "clone "action camera ?
They seemed to be priced from $15 to $100 , so best value for money , the only thing I know I need is 1080p and WiFi ,
But what other features should I look for ?
It will be used for many things , mount on my car sometimes , on my mountain bike , or just to use as a camera ,
Maybe some of the videos will be uploaded to YouTube if I catch something worth wile
Thanks for your ideas
Buy a refurb go pro on amazon $90 and works with every accessory you could dream of it works the clones are a pain in my experience
I've got a few of the clones. All around $40, use all official gopro accessories, take big memory cards, and shoot passable video.

Why WiFi?
Wifi streaming kills batteries quickly and you can drop signal and even with the GoPro you may not get it back.
I would look for one with the largest battery capacity and replaceable batteries.
Mounting accessories are handy, though I ponied up for some triple suction cup mounts for the outside of the car as the included ones were a little weak.
I wouldn't bother and just record locally to card, then get it from card afterward. Wifi is handy for stationary use, like a quasi-security camera, less so for being on the move.
If you upload to YouTube, etc. you'll want to edit it and that's easier on a PC rather than a phone or even on the device itself.
The wide angle lens used on most can be annoying to some, especially when viewed on a large screen, but its required to capture as much of the field of vision as possible.

Oddly, I find the GoPro's interface more difficult to use than the clones. Those were the older model GoPros though. My cheapy clones have worked quite well:
I can see where WiFi could be helpful for stupid things , what the dog is doing , or if the trash got picked up etc ,
Do most of them have a plug for an AC adapter so it does not need to run off the battery ?
They all come with AC chargers, some can work while charging, some don't.
