the movie is good. Not as good as I remember the original cartoon being 2+ decades ago, but pretty damn good. The special-effects are outstanding. But, it being Japanese, it is full of super-cheesy lines.....
How young are we talking? When I was really young, I loved watching shows like the Lone Ranger, Hop-Along Cassidy, the Grand Ole Opry, HeeHaw, and the Muppet Show. When I got a little older...

+1... and the original Robotech series... and the horrible crap that was pro wrestling in the south... oh how I'd like that time back.
Loony Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Dukes of Hazard, HeeHaw, Hogans Heros,
There's probably more, I just can't remember them at the moment.

I started rewatching that online... oh the adult jokes I missed as a kid
Did I miss anyone writing The Three Stooges?
A-Team, Davey and Galiath, Top Cat, Super Friends and The Banana Splits
Airwolf, 21 Jumpstreet, Six Million Dollar Man, The Greatest American Hero, Hart to Hart, Starsky and Hutch, A-Team, Magnum PI, Knight Rider, Simon&Simon, Hardcastle and McCormick...
Voltron, Voltes V, Thundercats, He-Man, Transformers, Gobots, Macross, Starblazers, Justice League of America...
My favorite show was Tom and Jerry when I was kid. I had liked tom because he always won from Jerry.
Airwolf, Six Million Dollar Man, The A-Team, Magnum PI, Knight Rider, Tales of the Brass Monkey, Rat Patrol, Wild Wild West, Black Sheep Squadron, McHales Navy, Ultraman, Batman and Robin, and of course "cartoons".

Plus A-Team and MacGuyver before he went super eco-dude.
I was a gearhead from a very young age, I didn't watch saturday morning cartoons, I watched monster trucks, and SODA offroad (which became CORR) and basically any car related TV I could find. I remember My Classic Car when it was on TNN!
But as far as other shows, I really liked Batman: The Animated Series, any of the old Hanna Barbera cartoons, Looney Tunes, or other stuff much older than I.
The Banana Splits
Johnny Quest
Batman
The Land of the Lost
Wacky Races Cartoon
Rocky & Bullwinkle
Mr Magoo
Tom Slick
