Family is trying to get rid of a 1947 Clipper (2 door I believe). Car has been in a garage in Florida for the last 30 years and not on the road. My uncle was able to get the car running but took off some radiator and other rubber hoses to replace and now it is somewhat apart. This is sitting on my grandparents farm 5 hours away so getting to look at it and help them is out of the question right now.

They were originally going to sell it for $2k, but this seems insanely cheap, but hen again I know absolutely nothing about these cars. Any thoughts as to what it's worth "as is"?

NADA says $5,000 to $20,000 but condition is everything. Can you get pictures of it?

No idea what it's worth, but having just looked at some photos, I now want one.

Check out hemmings to see if they have any similar for sale. Or call Wayne from Chasing Classic Cars.

If they are selling it for $2K, I can be there this afternoon with a trailer.

Damn, I was going to say that but didn't want to look selfish.

Thanks for the input. I just want to make sure the car is sold for a fair price.
