We have people who have seriously passed 50K if it was possible to include posts from earlier iterations. 

05-06-07. I was in high school, I'd discovered autocross and a friend gave my Dad the Downing-Atlanta supercharged 318is issue. 

Somewhere after that we were looking for a new car after Dad got in a wreck in my Maxima, and we ended up in a SAAB. I think the what car thread for that may have been my first post, but I'm really not sure. I know I used to read the forum during first period study hall in my junior year, possibly my sophomore year. 

Don't know what my first post was about (probably questions about a car problem if I had to guess), but the earliest notifications from the board I can find in my email are from October 2007. My earliest that are still online are probably talking about the new forum we were testing out.

Hard to say.   I know I spent a lot of time trolling the classifieds here at first, though I had a magazine subscription before that.

I was running a sign shop and had been doing graphics on some race cars, one of my customers sent me pics of his E30 M3 on the cover so I ran out and grabbed it and joined up that day. Not sure what my first posts were but the oldest I can find are from much later around 2007 or 08 when I decided to sell the Datsun 1200 GTL

I don't remember but I know it was quite a while ago. 

I remember seeing the magazine in the "sundry shop" in Tulsa and thought, "Hey this looks cool" and I've been a subscriber ever since. 

My first post was about 2 years ago about my first autocross :)
