Ok so which car would you rather have and DD, a LS swapped Jaguar XJ6 or Cossie look alike Merkur?
Does the Jag have a stickshift or an automatic?
Eh, doesn't matter, I'd probably go with the XR4Ti either way. I hate sedans.

What about just picking up an XJR? You can probably get one for close to what the swapped LS in an XJ6 would cost (~$10k).

Because that is far too easy and I want a project.
For a DD fighting traffic, the Jag with a automatic. My knees won't take hours of stop and go with a stick anymore. For a fun cruising car, the Jag with a T56. For a car to beat the crap out of, the Merkur. Build the Jag with the T56 and buy an appliance to DD.

I must be old, but for a daily, I'd rather a ford taurus or something like that. It'll start every damn time and you won't arrive at work smelling like gasoline.
The LS swapped jag would be awesome though, round headlights only please.
