have you started and run the car? If it falls on it's face, it's either spark or fuel.. if it starts huffing and puffing, it's probably clogged cats

Have you looked at fuel pressure one the one that falls on its face?

That seems to point to asc-t (traction control) issues like alluded to in other posts.

Wheel speed sensors, asc-t module, the elbow 'throttle plate' in the intake track, or something related to that system?

Thanks! Can the traction control asc-t simply be deleted? I would imagine that there is a way because SPEC E36 exists and I can't imagine that they run traction control

In addition to doing what slick posted you need a new silicone intake boot that replaces the assembly. Bimmerworld sells one and Mishimoto does. Also I believe you can use the window regulators from a sedan on a coupe but you have to switch sides (passenger --> drivers, etc).
