I know, a relic from times long ago.
Yet this Jeep caught my eye enough that I had to stop and take a pic.

If your still in that Walmart parking lot, see if you can zoom in and get a datecode off one of the tires. I predict a northern snow bird who is in FL 6 months or less. The car stays in FL and gets less than 5k miles per year.
Where does one even buy whitewalls in the past 10 years?
I think it really depends on the application:
Pretty much anything built from the 60s or earlier? Yes
A few Rad-era Caddies and maybe some malaise-era cars? Yes.
This Jeep? Not quite.
unfortunately skinny white walls scream 'the wal-mart put my bargain basement tires on inside-out' to me.
Thick white walls are awesome though.
I just miss really white letters on performance tires. Loved my old Eagle GT+4s on the 84 Camaro. The giant stick-on letters just aren't the same.
On any sedan or wagon with a high aspect ratio tire? Hell yes!
On a Wrangler? I wouldn't do it but it's not my vehicle so go for it.
On the Pontiac, yes; the whites on a Jeep look silly against white paint. Redlines on the Jeep please or paint it.

PepBoys carries a really E36 M3ty offbrand of Cooper tires that has a white wall. Amazing how many would come in looking for them when I worked there.

They look like they may be Nexens? Are they even LT tires?
I like white walls on fancy looking/ luxury cars... not so much on performance cars. This is my bosses Vette, and it should have black walls IMO. (Fuel injected, no radio, no heat, no soft top car.)
Im a big raised white letter guy, but only with BFGs. Nothing else has aged very well. I rock my KO2s laces out on my Land Cruiser.

Hmmmm, needs woodgrain vinyl on the sides.
