So yeah. Bought Z31T for a daily. Had s13 "racecar", sold POS s13, kept and built Z31. Caged it this month because I wanted to tandem drift. Also go road racing/track days next year with my friends.

I even painted it tonight....

Exterior shot. Need to weld on my front s13 coils.....the front end is back on.

So yeah, right now its my only car. luckily my dad has a 944 and a 928 that both run.

I used to daily my Subaru. Then someone rear ended it and I missed most of a race season. Now I drive it very rarely on the road.

Nicely done cage in the Subaru, fits against the roof very well. First cage is done nicely as well.

One thing: cage + head without helmet = not very safe, even with padding. Too bad cops have a problem with you wearing a helmet while driving on the street.

Yeah, gotta point out that running a cage in your street car is pretty dumb. As previously posted, even with padding your head is going to get seriously dented by the bar in a crash...

I use a dual density padding on my cage when I'm on the street. SFI underneath, softer skull-friendly padding on top.

You can't wear a helmet while driving a car on the street?

Seems dumb, but the cops said it restricts your hearing and sometimes vision. I guess you could wear one of the those brain buckets (1/2 helmets), not sure if they would have a problem with that. Removed link, it was April fools joke, missed date on it. Sorry
