The left rear window regulator in the 202 gave up earlier this week. I have a new one on the way.
What do you use to lube the regulator? This is a cable and pulley system. As the original failed due to the cable rusting, I would like something which will not evaporate, but not attract too much dirt.
I know, just use some gp grease, right?
Any secrets?
I have also disassembled the right side to lube it also.
Maybe dry moly lube?
But from my experience, when they need lubrication they're not far from needing replacement.
In reply to Woody:
I know about Shin-Etsu grease but I didn't think it was actually for the window regulator tracks itself (just for where the window glass itself meets the frame).
Is there another Honda grease for that purpose?
