I would like to find somebody to remove my intact windshield and reinstall it a few weeks later.

Anybody know somebody?

Thanks!

None of the big chains will do it.  They say there is too much safety liability in installing glass 30 years old....

Is it glued in or one of the ones with a lock strip?

If it has the lockstrip I would do it myself. Glued in, plan for the worst but a good glass guy should be able to do it no problems.

I would try a small place, not a chain.

If you have a glue in windshield, the liklihood of pulling one and re I stalling without damage is very low. I have pulled 6-8 windshields... only 2 of them were ok to reinstall.

You'll need to log in to post.
