It seems as if its been run hard and put away very wet. Some mods are questionable and certainly not limited to the ridiculous graphics and gold tinted interior accents. Whenever I see something like this my first instinct is to quickly minimize my browser and run away, but this seems to have some decent parts for the price like the Jackson Racing supercharger, sparco seats, etc. The price is under 5k. I dunno. Seems like some of the dumb mods are easily reversible. What says the hive? Are my initial instincts correct or is it worth investigating?

First thought - other than the SC, bunch of el cheapo parts. It also depends on how bad the rust is.

Nope. A JRSC at that boost level has drive ability issues, the seats are sold and the rest of the car is nothing special. Nice Laguna color, though.

This came up on my Miata search along with several other "deals " but in the northeast when they mention rust, it's usually much worse than you think/expect. I opted for a stock summer driver w/o rust but neglected maintenance. I'd rather make my own mods than deal with rust. My .02

It honestly doesn't look bad for the price.  It's not a top shelf SSM build but for daily honing and having fun at your local autocross it looks like a fair deal for the money.
