I gained 4mpg in an 87 Celebrity with a lawn edging airdam, then another 1.5 when I made gurney flaps (I think that's what they are called) in front of the front wheelwells.. as soon as my baby decides to be born and life settles back in, my 99 Saturn SL1 is getting a full lawn edging body kit and some cheap ($20!!) coilovers on all 4 corners to slam it down.. hoping to improve on my 42mpg best effort by a few..

I tried building an air dam for the Jeep to see if it would pull a couple mpg out of the thing. A 4 inch tall air dam wasn't enough to do anything and looked funny too I wonder if I could come up with a decent looking solution that's easily removable...
