At that price, there's still a lot of room to fix the issues.  A sorted M-Sport 6cyl Touring in Techno should double that.

I don't think rust was an issue on that car.

C&B has an E30 Touring and an E36 Touring, but neither are Techno...  The E30 is pretty rough... might go for a bargain.

Years ago, a friend offered his E46 Touring–rear drive, no sunroof as I recall–for like $3500. At the time, I had just gotten a car–maybe my parents’ 240SX–so I passed on the BMW.
