I nominate it as the next GRM project car. A 9xx 16v head swap, a silly short r&p for the dana 30 along with a limited slip, 46mm bilstein based homebrew coilovers, kalphenke arms, home brew skidplate.
Aren't those RWD Volvo manual transmissions really fragile? I thought the only solid one was an unobtainium Euro-spec unit. Probably not that big of a deal on loose surface stuff though I suppose.
They are fine(ish) at stock power. I want it but I already have an automatic one sitting in my back yard and no money.
