I bet it pulls hard once it hooks up. I've only been in one vehicle that ever was as insane as riding a 1000cc sportbike. Had a buddy with an 800whp GTR. The way that pulled from a launch control start, or even a rolling and using launch control was just mind bending.
The motor is a stock 5.0 from an 88 Mustang GT. So theoretically 225 hp and 300 ft/lb of torques. It's the torques that are pretty interesting for an autocross ride, like I said before even acting very "off" it made corner exits at the limit of the tires in 3rd gear from 3,000 rpm.
Coming from a Miata where the goal is to keep the motor screaming 100% of the run, it's a different experience.

That was just the car. Here is the weights with the mechanic in it (he's a touch heavier than me). The seating position is so far back it really changes the balance to get a person aboard.
