Uff. Buddy of mine's brother had one just like that. We use to steal it and go all over the place, could barely reach the ground.

There is a 94 in similar condition for double the money.
I've been bike free since the beginning of this year. I don't like it. If it's still available after this storm rolls through I'm gonna go see it.
Can't beat a KLR650 for an affordable adventure bike. I'm not sure you'd see one for even double that price here in Oregon.
That's a bit rough, but it's a KLR, so you wouldn't care about appearances anyway. I think I paid about that for mine 11 years ago.
Removing the decals was a tedious, miserable endeavor. After a few attempts with 'plastic' spray paint I wound up using spray on bedliner from cans.
The KLR is the MTD lawn tractor of motorcycles. Does nothing well, but will do almost anything you ask. My main complaint is how tall they are. The brakes may as well be drums. It will do 70+, but you have to will it to do so. Google "Eagle Mike" and "doohickey", because you'll probably need to replace the spring at minimum. There's a lot of angst over the cooling system on these and a band-aid called a "thermobob" but I never saw a problem that justified installing one. The seat is a medivial torture device but the sheepskin pad mostly solved that. You can ALWAYS sell a KLR when you are tired of it.
