What are your opinions and experiences on pressure washers in this price range? Gas or electric? Yes, I watched Project Farm's video. A model you would buy again today or one you would never recommend?
Thanks

I had a thread about it https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/off-topic-discussion/pressure-washer-deckbrickfence-paint/162919/page3/ and I ended up buying his recommendation, and have been loving it ever since.

I have an electric and it's great for small things. But once you start washing anything bigger than, say, a chair, or a car, you're gonna want more power. The one Curtis and MR2s2000elise recommend sounds great. My gas one has the same motor but a different pump and it's good for washing the house and shop and such.

You can borrow mine until I ask for it back. Most people have one just sitting there.
Disagree. It's one of those tools you never knew you needed until you have one. It's amazing how many uses they have.
No specific recommendations, but I have a Honda-powered one I got at Home Depot about 10 years ago that's still going strong.
I got a Honda powered one for free years ago because the owner couldn't be bothered to clean the carb bowl. Been running great ever since.
I got a 'good' electric. You need gas to really do anything. I have to use the 10 degree nozzle to clean the driveway. It's like cleaning it with a pencil eraser.
I've got a Honda powered Ryobi one I got from Home Depot some years back. It works well, but says it's "Easy Start", which it absolutely is not! Getting that thing to fire sometimes is a huge PITA, I really wish it had an e-start like my snow blowers have.
I have a Stihl RB200. It's been solid for the past few years. My only complaint is the position of the exhaust needs to be considered carefully when running the hose. My son melted a hole in the hose when I first got it.

Mine was an unsolicited gift from TunaFatherInLaw, and it sits there 364.9 days per year.
I also have the 6.5 HP Ryobi from Home Depot. Fortunately it starts super easy and has been very easy to own for 3 years now since the previous 20 year old pressure washer with a 6.5 B&S motor sent it's rod through the block.
So 300 doll hairs for 17 years of use seems about right. Never run them dry and break it out to use them 3-4 times a year and they should all work "fine".
