C/D , M/T and R&T says bored 5.4L.

I personally believe it is a new hybrid wild jackalope crossed with Lady GaGa's stylist

"The 5.8-litre V8 aluminum-block engine produces 650 horsepower and 600 lb.-ft. of torque, making it the most powerful production V8 in the world.

Nearly every part of the powertrain has been optimized for producing the additional horsepower, including a new supercharger, new cross-drilled block and heads, updated camshaft profiles, a new carbon fibre driveshaft and upgraded clutch, transmission and axle.

A larger, more-efficient supercharger flowing more air through the engine is key to helping produce the massive 650 horsepower. The new TVS series 2300 creates 2.3 litres of displacement and is a unique design to the 5.8-litre engine.

The entire cooling system has been significantly updated on the new 5.8-litre engine. It now includes a larger cooling fan, fan shroud with high-speed pressure-relief doors, a more efficient charge air cooler, a higher-flow intercooler pump and an intercooler heat exchanger with volume increased 36 per cent. We're having dinner with the engineers and Jim Foley, the Ford dude who's a die-hard Mustang guy (he told us at the 302 launch he still has the Mustang he bought in high school since it was the first car he ever... kissed a girl in, nudge, wink). I'll get the damn skinny on whether it's bored, or gaga injected.

I cannot even imagine how scary 202 mph would be in that thing. The closest price and performance match I can think off offhand is the Nissan GT-R. At 186 mph supposedly the GT-R produces north of 176 lbs of downforce.

Just looking at it I somehow doubt that the Mustang would produce anything close to that.

The bore is the same, the stroke's been increased.

Aerodynamics have come a long way.. I am sure it produces Downforce

Again, according to just about everybody the only thing in common with the 5.4 is bore spacing. New block, new crank, new heads, etc, etc, all with different bolt patterns...
