My most popular thread ever on this forum is the rant thread. With this one I aim to surpass it. Guidelines: one wheel type per post. If you know what they are, say what they are. Have at it.
Centra Type 6 in a legit 15" 4x108. I would do INCREDIBLY rude and unmentionable things for a set.
(I had a set a few years ago and like a buffoon I sold them off. Mine were only 14" 4x100 though. )

Moar Pug content because of course. These are mine. ;)
Riken STX 16x7 4x108.
BTW fitment for this car is insane. These are +13ET and I'm running 20mm spacers per side, so the effective offset is -7 and they still barely even clear the front brakes. Thanks Peugeot.
Holy crap, someone semi-local to me has a 406 Coupe?
Also, BBS Turbofans.

And of course this thread cannot exist without Ronal Turbos. There is a beautiful red E30 wagon in town on these. I nearly gave myself whiplash the first time I saw it.
^^ Like this only more wagon-y, and with a period-correct Thule ski rack. Both of which make it even better.

Yep. The island is crazy for oddball imports, way beyond the usual Skylines & Delicas. Am proud to be a part of that madness.
That said, there was 106 GTi S16 for sale IN YOUR TOWN for like ever; it was on CL. I almost did a fly & drive.
Saab Super Aero rims.. some of the best looking stock rims ever put on a car.. aside from the Porsche Fuchs

Yes, YES. AHAHAHAHA.
Keep 'em coming!
Gotta have the other style of Saab Aero wheels. Seen here on a classic 900 with the full Airflow body kit, for the full 1980's experience.
I love the fact that I came here to post my Ronal Turbos, and I'm third in line.
Instead, I shall shout out to my AMG Pentas (Ronal R9) and post pictures later.

Shame you dont. Those are worth a bit of coin on the vintage market.
I know. :D
That's why when I sold the car, I put the wheels on eBay.
SSR Star Shark. The want.
I like my Weds auto bahn's :
Gold-laced BBS wheels RULED the 80's.
The deeper the better IMHO.
And you could get them on the M6 right from the dealer.
And in the 80's, tuners got pretty wild with them!
The 80's also saw the birth of the AMG 5-Spoke, which still looks good to this day. Again, the deeper the dish the better.

I'm pretty sure I've seen these on reel-to-reel tape decks.
The Chevy Beretta, which was available with an astounding array of wheels (seriously, Google it) came with one of the better 5-Spokes of the 80's.
I was always fond of the VW "teardrop" rims as well
Progressive brand. Not sure of the model off the top of my head.
Came to post the Isuzu waffles, was beat to it. Quintessential 80's.
