2008 was my first full season involved in motorsport. Through the course of that year i competed in:
10 Rallycross, 4 TSD Rallys, and 1 Autocross
I also:
Chaired the 60th Anniversary Triathlon (Rally-x, Auto-x, and TSD in one day) for the Detroit Region SCCA.
Got elected to the Detroit Region board of directors, as "director of advertising"
Became an Intern for Rally America, and assisted with Media and Advertising at the Lake Superior Performance Rally (I will also be assisting for Sno*Drift)
During all this, I was taking 20 credits in Western Michigan University's Advertising and Promotion program.
This has been a busy year, but I wouldn't change it for the world!

Thanks for your enthusiasm, but give it some time...I don't care how gung ho you are, the organizational stuff will wear you out...I held several offices and chaired two different solo programs for a total of about 16 years. I've been an SCCA member for over 20 years now and I'm content to let you young guys do the work while I show up and play... Of course, all that work is appreciated...
20 YEARS?!?!?!
Wow, I'm only 24 . . .
Wow . . .meh . . .I used to do the behind-the-scenes stuff with drifting, and I continue to do somethings, but mostly I just drive.
To the original poster, good stuff, I'm glad to see we have more people willing to step up and take over in the backstage of mosport, keep up the awesome work and keep us posted on what you discover/create.

well...to be blunt, most of what I am currently doing is to build my resume. As an advertising major, you have to have alot of "related" extra curricular activities.
However, I feel that I will continue to be involved once I get settled down with a job. I just love seeing people enjoy my hard work.
