His role in "Space Quest" was spot-on what I think he got in the real world sometimes. And in "Dogma" he had some of the best lines in the movie.

What are you gonna do, hit me with that..fish?

I think Dogma is still on YouTube. I'll have to watch it again when I get back to the hotel tonight.

I own Dogma. I own the Potter movies. I laugh every time I think of his Sherriff of Nottingham character, particularly the scene where he's trying to do Marion. Hans Gruber was a wonderful bad guy. Marvin's voice was perfect, although the visual was wrong to me. I never saw anything he did that wasn't good.

I am sad.

Because it's dull. It'll hurt more.

Probably his best work, IMHO, was Galaxy Quest. One of the funniest movies I've ever seen, certainly under the radar though.

My favorite!!! "I didn't say I didn't know how to use them".

One of his best roles. This was definitely the role of the guy you love to hate.

I don't normally get too upset when a celebrity passes, but this one hurts a bit. I really liked everything he did, and that's rare.

The name Alan Rickman didn't register one bit with me, but I've seen Quigley Down Under a few dozen times. Now that I can attach a name to a face, I agree, I haven't seen anything with him in it that wasn't good. It's what you leave behind when you go.
