eh, we recently lost our GSD who was brilliantly capable of shedding her own weight in fur once a week.   Every time I see a fur tubbleweed cruising across the house I just think of it as a ghost or memory of her.  I'll gladly take the fur over the loss.

Could be worse. Could *always* be worse. This is my best friend's shedder, Moxie. Moxie's an Anatolian-Malamute mix. She is absolutely wonderful... 'cept for the impossible amount of doghair. They deal with the shedding issues by taking her outside where she does, well, this. The pic does reality no justice. Thishere is a violation of physics.

For several years we had 2 Golden Retrievers and hair was just something that we lived with. It was EVERYWHERE! We had a motorcycle dealership at the same time and both dogs were with us in the building 6 days a week. Most motorcycle clothing(jackets, pants, vests, t-shirts) is black and we made sure that at every desk and at the parts counter, there were lint rollers. It was crazy bad several times a year, but we got through it.

We did find the answer to having a dog and absolutely no shedding. The answer is F1 Goldendoodle! Cute, furry, smart, loving and no shedding at all! People don't believe me, but I have a Jeep Gladiator with a black cloth interior and Bodhi rides in the passenger front seat every day and there is NO hair on the seat!

Sure, everything could always be worse. But the point is, I find my clothes coming out wash/dryer still being covered in dog hair, frankly, disgusting. And it makes you look like a slob, at least to me.
