Was helping a friend install a two post lift today. This is sitting outside. Now I want one of these.

It looks to be factory original to me, but I don't know much about these cars. Very little rust too. Also not for sale.

I'd like a 411 wagon.

A Claxton horn next to a pair of sidedraft carbs?

I've seen everything now.

I wouldn't blame the owner for holding onto it.

A friend of mine had an early Datsun sedan when we were in college. It looked like that one but didn't have multiple carburetors or anything. It was maybe the slowest car I ever rode in, although he liked it because he could always drive it as fast as it would go and no one would notice.

I was so busy drooling over everything else I never even noticed the horn.

Definite Sleeper candidate.

Oooo...a bluebird SSS. That's a rare beast. I had the wagon version a number of years back.

Am I the only one who wants to hook up two of those horns in front of the SUs for an electric supercharger?

Kind of like Indy car push-to-pass but without the surprise element.

I'll bet it has automatic.

I like old Japanese sedans, and can even understand wanting to own something "off-beat", but if I was going to own a "rare" Datsun sedan...it would be a 1st gen. 810 / Maxima, with a manual transmission. Then at least I could fit behind the wheel and would have the luxury of cruise control and air conditioning.
