Moving on to Europe now, so it's not just incompetent American drivers who are unable to cope with sticky pedals after all.

Yes it is. After going keyless for over a year now I find it annoying as hell to have to dig my keys out of my pocket now when I drive one of the antique cars with keys.

It seems that I've always got my hands full and can't get my keys out of my pocket before getting in the car and digging them out while i'm sitting down is a real pain. I also absolutely LOVE having the door unlock when I touch the handle which is another perk of the fob.

When I was a kid I always wanted to have a row of toggle switches with those cool red covers like a stockcar.

Datsun, Yeah I know it was a loaner. The Lexus in for service was OLD - a mid 90s model IIRC...he had a 2008 as a loaner, so a decades worth of crap tossed in he had never dealt with.

I own a luxo barge too - a 90s infiniti that I also bought in cash...that doesnt change my mindset that 95% of new infiniti owners who live in my middle class neighborhood with 4 kids and the "other" car is a 90s accord arent leasing something that they probably could do without just to show off a bit.
