Once upon a time, I was a AutoCAD expert... but that was junior college and a decade ago. Picking up 3DSMax again is presenting a bit of a learning curve.
If I have a real object (complex), what is the best method to begin modeling it? Any tips for getting over the learning curve?
I've tried to follow along with some of the online video training, but they aren't great (better than nothing, but leave off some details). I spend 10-30 minutes trying to replicate the activity they did in seconds because they leave off some minor detail.
