Just wonderin' if you see anything exceptionally nice.
don't know much about it but I still get emails from gunbroker that mentioned this weird thing that reminded me of the old German belt buckle guns.
I have a friend who’s either there or physically incapacitated...and I’m not sure that would stop him.
I'm watching closely for PSA5 info. They're supposed to be livestreaming with one of the guntubers with all the official details. They announced it at SHOT last year, but have been really tight lipped since.
The "affordable" everyman's MP5 clone.
I have 2 YouTube channels I subscribe to that are there, TFBTV and In Range. That is as close as I get.
Our company has a booth but I'm not there. Lethal Hunting Products - scent neutralizers and things of that sort.

The end run around SBR's with "stabilizing braces" amuses me.
I've been seeing some stuff trickling out of SHOT but I haven't been following it real closely. Interested if there's anything real innovative this year.
Magpul furniture, late '19 availability, "great quality at an affordable price."

Also, Israeli FALs!!!

Announced before SHOT, but I didn't know about it until now. Mossy Model 590A1 Retrograde, everything old is new again.
New AIMPOINT red dot has me hot to try it. Not happy about the 600$ price point but it has to survive better then the stuff I am using now and its easy to clean from mud.
The new Hipoint is actually pretty good looking as well for 200$

Look at the SIG Romeo 5 red dot. I liked it so much, I bought another. Used it today during Gun Day at work on top of a 300BO AR pistol.

May have to give it a try. I kill optics for some reason so I have ben getting the Vortex stuff and sending stuff in for warranty when it fails. I have a 6 MOA viper that must have 5K rounds on it hard mounted to my 1911 slide and it keeps ticking. Pain in the butt to clean under time constraints through for completions.
More on pricing, " PSA is looking at a late Q3 or early Q4 release with a MSRP below $1,300 and a target price of $1,100"

Just look at that American made roller delayed blow back beauty!
I'm not there this year, but our company has a booth. BE Meyers. Serious military tactical lasers. With some law enforcement and civilian versions thrown in.

Does "E" on the selector switch stand for "Empty the sucker"?
Always wanted one of these, but the crappy copies I've seen locally are $1500+. $1100-1300 is probably still more than I'd be able to pay right now, but it's creeping closer.
In reply to kazoospec :
Zenith and PTR are the only good clones on the market that I know of. PTR is new to the MP5 game, only been doing it a year now. Zenith is going to run you around $1800 and a PTR is going to be around $1500. So PSA's ~$1K looks pretty good. Knowing PSA after these have been out a bit and the new has worn off, there'll probably be $800 Christmas and 4th of July deals.
If you've got a buddy with a jig, you can put together a "real" H&K parts kit for around the same price as the PTR, but if you don't already have the jigs, that adds enough cost to make it not very cost effective. I don't see myself making more than one, so buying the jigs, plus a parts kit, and hoping I don't screw something up, just doesn't seem like a reasonable way for me to get an MP5.
I'm not sure what crappy copies you've seen, but Zenith and PTR are both supposed to be good. I own a PTR 91 (H&K G3 clone) and it's sweet.
GSG and Umarex/Walther make (made) .22 LR MP5-ish clones. I've come dang close to snagging the Umarex one when it's been on sale for <$300, but have always talked myself out of it.
In reply to bigdaddylee82 :
I'm super interested in an affordable UMP clone in .45 acp. Hopefully this MP5 clone leads to that. I could be talked into this PSA one even though I don't shoot 9mm at the moment.

Yea not gonna lie it's got my interest. Glad to see hipoint finally starting to make something that isn't a brick.

Same here. In Range and Forgotten Weapons are channels I can waste hours watching.
There's a new Desert Eagle barrel/caliber. It's called 429DE, basically a 44 Magnum Magnum. I was shooting the DE yesterday in 44MAG. BIG SMILES all around.
I'm also very happy to hear that the Arkansas made PPKs aren't vapor ware anymore, they've been "coming soon" for 4 years.
US made frame, German made slide, PPK and PPK/S should be available sometime next month.
I've got an Interarms made stainless PPK from the late '80s, but being a native Arkie I think I need one of these Ft. Smith made beauties in my collection too.
