the king Arthur Vermont honey wheat oatmeal bread. Except I was short on brown sugar so just made up the weight with molasses. Still amazing.
Other than some banana bread, and a berkeleyed up batch of milk buns at Thanksgiving, this is the first bread I've made in I guess almost a year. I've been wanting to since October, nothing ever lined up
My parents still knead it by hand so when they found out I got a bread machine a couple months back they were polite but unimpressed. Meanwhile, we haven't bought a loaf since. I do 1/3 each of white, wheat, and oats, plus some ground flax seed. It would probably taste better with just white flour but I think this is still good and is at least as healthy and definitely cheaper than picking up Dave's Killer varieties.
The other day I started some cinnamon rolls in the thing. I used their recipe and it was fine, better than any for sale in this small town, but I am looking forward to testing my improvements :D
Any suggestions for a smallish bread box? Right now I'm putting them in plastic grocery store bags in the fridge.
made king Arthur pretzel buns today for steak sandwiches, came out awesome.

Those look fantastic. King Arthur recipes are always my first stop for anything in the bread world.
