I was just curious, because my wife has gone off the handle in the last couple days about me leaving to go to Georgia. She feels like she is going to be alone even though my cousin is going to stay the weekend. She pinched a nerve in her neck somehow 2 nights ago and now she thinks she's dying and wants to got to the ER, etc. and I have to finish up some stuff around the house before I leave.
I think she is subconsciously trying to sabotage my trip
That does not sound like subconscious sabotage - it sounds like what a 5yr old does to get attention. Ignore it.
Ha! I read your question and my immediate thought was:
"You bet, anyone that lives with a woman..."
I do, we have bouts with it, but a stern discussion and some peace and quiet for processing time works in my situation.
But she will remember everything you say.
My wife does that E36 M3 to me, too. She gets over it, once I'm gone.

I take it you don't travel a ton. Ice pack and a cell phone near by. Let's her know you care, but the travel is going to happen, if it's really an emergency, call 911.

I pinched a nerve in my back. It's not that bad. Throw her an asprin and tell her to get over it.
(Note: Do NOT do that!)

This.
No offense, but this doesn't sound like anxiety disorder. It sounds like a temper tantrum.
In reply to Sky_Render:
Well my wife does have an anxiety disorder, but the last week has been insane. I do not travel without her usually, so I think that has a lot to do with it.
Not patting myself on the back...I've spent the last 27 years in a wheelchair, with devastating pain in my shoulders the last couple of years. My philosophy, Berkely it, it's just pain, carry on.
Offer to drop her off at the ER on your way out of town?
My wife is kinda glad when I leave the house.

No she won't.
They make you think that because we can never remember everything we say (why would we?), then they make E36 M3 up, and we buy it.
I've lived with an anxiety disorder all my life. It can be a bitch if you can't manage it.

My first thought was she's reading this forum and is afraid you'll come home with another car.
I don't know about anxiety, but sometimes I swear my g/f is bi-polar the way she will go on raging tirades and then an hour later act like nothing happened. Drives me effing nuts.
…oh, oh, oh, and what about when they’re deeply immersed in a massive rant about something you’ve done…there’s tears, sobbing, and an worrisome escalation path in progress only to be interrupted by a random phone call from one of her friends. Suddenly, she’s not only completely composed but she’s down right chipper.
Makes you feel like you married one of these:
Is she aware she has this problem? Has it been diagnosed? If it has have you talked to her doctor?
While Im sure its frustrating and you are busy getting ready for your trip maybe a bottle of wine, a bad movie, and, a massage would smooth things over.
Yup. I find alcohol helps. Not for her, for you.
On a serious note, yeah, I have a touch of experince there. Get her to a good doc. Drugs are good.

Sounds like my first wife. Warning: It will only get worse.
Sorry to hear that man. My brother has this crap as well as my fiancee. With the fiancee, she's working on it and getting over it. My brother, it's getting worse with age. He'll have a weird twitch in his arm and now he thinks he has signs of MS.

Yup.
To OP: to me it sounds like a passive aggressive temper tantrum.
Somewhere along the line you have to either 1) let that blackmail you or 2) slam the lid on it. Either way, you have a problem: in 1) you lose respect for yourself and probably her respect as well since she knows how to manipulate you and in 2) hell no she's not going to forget it, five years later if you have an argument about, say, the electric bill she's going to slap you across the face with it.
are you going to georgia to bang your cousin? her cousin? etc? good luck with whatever you decide. i have nothing to add.
Haha, no I'm helping friend in the Army move to Georgia. I'm already in route.
My wife has been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, but her meds aren't enough.

When was she diagnosed? Because it can take years to figure out the correct medication.
My girlfriend is fighting it, and (in my case) you just have to be patient, caring, but firm on your position.
