Why not a 1.5 hour romantic train ride?
Been ready. We're going to wing night the night before.
And that's it. No flowers, no jewelry, none of that overpriced stuff. Just like we have the last 9ish we've been together.

I got that ad too! I almost clicked to find out if it was even real.
I have dinner reservations made. We usually make our own cards, and I don't have mine started yet.
On the real, we have dinner reservations at a local spot and got each other smallish gifts that are mostly not surprises. We usually keep Valentine's Day pretty low-key.
And if you are looking for a good tinned fish gift, Fishwife is the brand to go with. I got Margie a gift box from them for xmas and she says it is VERY good.
We're going to be driving from the Keys to Daytona that day. I'm going to stop at the Kennedy Space Center on the way. I'll tell her she's out of this world, and her hatred of puns will likely cause her to fly home without my. A long way to go for a laugh but worth it.
I'm going to be out of town on business. Fortunately, neither my wife nor I are particularly into Valentines day. She claims that every day is Valentines day in our house.
I'm still waiting for my "Bring Your Sweetheart for 50% Off" Valentin's Day special entrance fee voucher from Pick-You-Part.
Nothin' sez lovin' like a previously enjoyed master cylinder for that special someone in your life.
Annie and I will be in South Florida next week, Pompano Beach; a present to each other. We've learned not to go out to the "fancy joints" on Valentine's Day because the experience is hardly ever worth the price. So directly across from our hotel on A1A is a great little dive bar called Stinger's that's popular with the locals. Good food. Good people. Good fun. That's where we'll spend our Valentine's Day evening. We'll go to Houston's the next night when it'll be somewhat less of a E36 M3-show.
