I threw more then a few punches in soccer in Middle School and High School and I never berkeleyed a cheerleader.
i think i know why...
Our soccer team was getting more Bob Costas then the football team. ''
Edit: Actually that is why the team got in so many fights, they kept sleeping with other team's girlfriends.
hahahaha YES
Soccer was more involved and dangerous in high school compared to middle school lol I'm proud to be a player and enthusiast. We would always get into fights, I had a few detentions for some of them, they may have berkeleyed more ladies on the football team but the ladies we got were hotter and actually stayed with us for the most part
now on rugby, that to, Rugby>NFL

Teammates don't count.
Count me as one of those picked on through junior high and the first half of highschool. Never got in any fights though because studying martial arts taught me to never start a fight, and bullies where always too Bob Costas to try to take a swing.
Amusingly the thing I was picked on for most - riding my bike with panniers (side bags) and first pants tucked into socks before getting goofy biking pants - people stopped laughing about when they realized I lived 10 miles and 1000ft elevation from the school.

NICE
hahaha this is just getting better and better

Wow--the broken ankle is a nice bonus. Badass.
I guess the punishments were fair, then.
Video still active at:

.... and I still love the THUD !!
Hah, awesome.
Regardless of whatever punishment the school dished out, the little tosser will be reminded of this video for a long while to come .
Also, the kids standing back recording the whole thing are just as bad, IMO.

i'm just jealous because i was a keeper for 9 years and it never helped me get chix. shoulda been a striker, i guess.
That THUD is simply awesome
Why is it that kids no matter the size all seem to toughen up when in large(r) groups. It would have been even better if the bullied kid would have laid out the last kid who came up to him and got in his face.
One bully laid out = glorious
Two bullies laid out = simply priceless
And if the bullied kid gets suspended his parents should take him to Disneyland for sticking up for himself!

haha that's not bad! They just didn't know what they were missing
and suspending him? yup more proof our school systems and this "suing" everyone does is the worst why? He was defending himself against a bully, isn't that what we always teach kids that are bullied. Kids nowadays are so wussified because of all the penalties the have against them if they do anything about it.
I was the short, fat kid that got bullied until I was in 5th grade. We were out on the playground playing softball. It was my turn to bat and when I went to the plate "Roy" decided he wanted to bat. He pushed me out of the way and knocked me down. I guess I had had enough of that so I reacted.
After that no one ever bullied me again. I still see Roy at our class reunions and we are civil to each other. And he still walks with a limp.
Guess he learned not to knock someone down when they have a baseball bat in their hand.
I was a short skinny kid in Jr. High. There one kid in my Gym who picked on me continually for several months. What he didn't know was I had been studying Tae Kwon Do for a couple of years. I never told anyone about it because I figured in that crowd there would be a lineof people wanting to fight.
One day in the locker room he pushed me too far. I kicked him in the chest which surprised him and everyone else there. I didn't hit him hard enough to really hurt. But I left an unmistakable footprint right in the middle of the t-shirt he was wearing. The jears and teasing he got from a bunch of 13-year-olds about "Whats that on on shirt, Henry?" were worse than any physical pain I could have caused. No one ever messed me again in that class.
You can bet your bottom dollar that the little kid will now want to be friends with the big guy that slammed him.
Bullies are cowards. Stand up to them once and they back down, and all of the sudden they want to be your buddy.
Someone should have a talk with the little kid's parents. Kids aren't born bullies, they learn from experience.

Might as well try to teach a pig to sing, it's a waste of your time, and it annoys the pig !!

Striker was my position.
