Is it a bad sign to be looking at one car (beater Corvette's) and the answer (Mazda Miata) is in the background in the seller's picture?
At some point I should start looking at Miata's? Could the owner be looking to dump this POS Corvette to free up some money for the answer?

The Miata is a strange relationship...
Wanted a Porsche, didn't want the Porsche when I had it.
Wanted a Corvette, didn't want a Corvette when I had it.
Didn't want a Miata, want it now that I have one... and cant imagine a garage without one.
Miatas are exceptionally boring. Ignore the herd. Be an individual. Buy what you actually want.
If you don't like the Vette a price and Number could help someone else , Wish My Beater was that nice.
I want the van.
