Best sig lines

I may be biased, but Tom has my all-time fave sig line: "I tried drag racing, but kept blowing the apex for turn two..."

Although Wally's is also most excellent: "Sweet dreams are made of cheese. Who am I to disagree."

Are visible sig lines turned off by default?

I just turned mine on, a bit difficult to find, go to My Profile then edit (tiny text at the top).

By default, yes, they're turned off. Your profile has all sorts of preferences you can set, with more to come.

I stopped using them because I don't like the way they are essentially permanent on this site.

Sometimes my mood changes. Sometimes I say stupid stuff. I'd rather have a signature I can change later.

I use this same sig on a local board, and one of the Admin's asked if he could join my race team.

Mine was a line in a little animated story about Jamal, The little ducky poo... It flashes on the screen shortly after Jamal explodes.

Think of signatures as CBS... You don't really even have to look to know they're stupid.

I do like that not every signature on this board is a model year and option code followed by engine specs and ETs. I suppose not being a model specific board does have its advantages.
