Three times a lady, bishes. Interesting to see how popular music has consistantly spiraled more violently down the tubes. Look at 80's vs. 90's, then 90's vs. 2000's. At least the 80's included people who knew how to play a berkeleying instrument or sing without auto-tuned assistance. Get off my lawn.
Yeah, I hate to agree, but I agree.
The Top 40 in the 2010's will be even more retarded/unmemorable. The lowest common denominator went so low that popular music is beneath nursery rhymes in terms of quality.

"I'm a Believer" The Monkees. But..... 1967 actually had a lot of other good music happenings, so the year wasn't a total loss.

Well, at least it's entertainingly stupid.

Negative. I grew up in the 80's, but most of my music influences were 90's Gangsta Rap. Easy E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, etc. West Coast rap was my shizzle yo.
I still listen to it and when they shout out stuff like "One nine nine to da tray" my 15 yr old says, "What's that?" I have to explain it's 1993, and 3 years before she was born. Then I turn it off and back to Justin Bieber for her...

Oh, now that is funny! Billie Jean
It's interesting to go far back in time.
1925- Sweet Georgia Brown, very popularized by the Globe Trotters.
1937- Where or When, I've always liked that Jazz song
1944- I'll be seeing you- classic end of war song.
1945- Sentimental Journy- for some reason, when I was a kid, I "sang" this song for two weeks straight. no idea why
1955- Rock around the Clock.
1965- Satisfaction- gotta love these old timers...
1977, when I was 10- Looks like we Made it- ugh, I hate Barry Manilow.
I remember all of the 80's songs, although Every Breath You Take isn't my favorite Police tune.
On the other hand, I recognize all of ONE song from the 90's. After that, nuthin. Heard of "Kissed a Girl"- but what guy hasn't...

Somebody left a cake out in the rain.
It's Too Late/I Feel the Earth Move by Carole King. I remember listening to that song on road trips. My dad put all of my parents records on cassettes and I have fond memories of riding in the car at 3 am smelling coffee and listening to those tapes.
