Sure. It's a poor area of town. That's why they don't sue the thrower.
Hate that the kid got hurt. But damn, lawsuits like this are why this is turning into a nation of sissies afraid to even let kids toss a freakin' football before school.

It's no joke. I dealt with that for about 2-3 months after my motorcycle wreck.
But I came off the bike around 60mph (helmet and gear on, at the track) and I ended up with it.

Undoubtably the fact that the thrower was an eighth grader had no bearing on their decision.
Looks like the school and its' administrators are getting sued because they failed to enforce their own policies. And, because the eighth-grader doesn't have any money.
