Its amazing how fast one can bounce back from being crapped on. Anyway I just thought I would update ya'll about the whole situation from the "What would you do" thread.
Anyway the girl in question has still been fairly cold to me, doesn't talk much to me anymore is not going to work in the lab with me etc. Oh well just shows she wasn't worth it to begin with right? Well a funny thing happened out of all of this.
During this time I had started to talk to one of my other friends more that I had not been spending much time with in the last few months. She proved to be a good friend while I was down, both about the girl and all the other stuff going on in my life. We started talking quite a bit more in the last week, most nights we are together until about 2:30 in the morning one night 4:30. The other night we were talking on the phone and I fell asleep while talking to her lol. She just laughed about it the next day.
She likes camping, hiking and fishing, she is thinking about helping me with my Cutlass project and lives less than 2 blocks from me.
As of this weekend we started going out. So yeah a 2 week turn around not to bad.
Oh also still going to be doing the photo shoot with the other two girls that want to model for me. Looks like things are turning around.
Though I am still burnt out on chemistry and I blew off kind of a big project last week lol.
We're all pulling for ya..

Yeah funny thing is we had known each other for close to a year and never figured out we lived so close to one another lol. We would always just meet up at various other places or talk on the phone.

I'm hoping to get some time with at least one of them this week. She is all excited because she is getting her hair done today and wants to see how it will look in the photos.
Oh also don't forget the Olds another source of things turning around for me lately. Nothing like a free car lol.
my wife and I went to grade school together, did school activites in the same organizations, and she even dated my neighbor in Highschool, yet we never really even knew more than each others name until we started dating 6 years ago. Sometimes that girl around the corner stuff is scary accurate.

^^ Ditto, my wife and I grew up less than a mile from each other (our parents still live that close -- makes it easy around the holidays). I went to her house once in high school because my buddy took her older sis on a date, but we were far enough apart in age that we never crossed paths in school. Then we met in college (we weren't even going to the same college at the time). Now, we've been married for 3 years and have our first kid due in July... Sometimes it just works out.
My wife and I were next-door-neighbors in the same scary apartment complex. All the other neighbors were creepy/dangerous, and she was (and is) hot.
Yeah it is kinda weird because we have known each other actually longer than I have lived in this house. So when we first met I lived in a different town, so its kinda weird that it just so happens that I moved into this house.
Even weirder when you consider I actually put offers in on 2 other houses before this one . The first house the owner basically "gave" the house to someone they knew ignoring my offer, the second house I made the offer then my agent found out the place was in a flood plain so we yanked that offer and I settled for this place lol. Hmmm makes ya think lol.

One of the guys was standing next to me and asked how I managed to luck out after she left lol.
Should be the next week or so...Though I'm not sure they can be posted here...though I could put together a locked file on my image hosting site and give the password to those worthy lol.
im not allowed to look at other girls now... i get to pay bills now, fix her car now, watch whatever she wants to watch now, listen to her crap music now...
