I was wondering about the garage door opener he used to actuate the machine gun - he was running it off a 12vdc battery, but I've never seen one that wasn't designed for 120vac.
Still, it was only a small bit of artistic license - not bad compared to most television shows.

I liked the GearWrench used to operate the swing mechanism. I gotta remember that one.

Eh, I think 800 rds of 7.62 NATO for something like 7 unassuming nazis is overkill enough to look past the lack of Bear Jew.

When I was shopping for openers a decade ago they had DC motor units for silent operation. Out of my budget though.
Looks like Bryan Cranston has a fanboi:

Scroll down, watch the ads Cranston did way back when.

If you listen to the official BB insider podcast, Vince talked about that rig. Apparently it was the real deal. He had originally written the script to use a wiper motor to swing the gun back and forth, but the SFX department said that wouldn't be reliable enough. Apparently they went into a Home Depot and built the whole thing with readily available parts. So what you're actually seeing isn't a "special effect" in that it's actually operating as designed.
Apparently there's a bit more behind the scenes of the build on the forthcoming DVD megaset.
PS: Mad bonus points to any Walter White-themed Caddies at the Challenge. Heck, we'll even go easy on Jesse's AWD Corolla wagon.

What about Aztecs? Or Wagoneers? Or whatever random madness Mike would drive? There's so many options!
