Ooof. Well done, but that could not have been cheap.
I especially liked how they GTFO of Dodge after it came to a stop.
My mind is screaming "No, you'll divot the runway!" but I kind of wonder if they were told to land centered in case the plane decided to veer one way or the other. (I am not a pilot, not sure if wheels-up landing is something that people train for)

Turf balls up underneath and hammers the hell out of the fuselage. Always take pavement whenever possible.

I should also think that asphalt is less likely to catch fire in case things got conflagratey, and will be easier for emergency vehicles to access.
Plus they'd need to cart the thing off somehow.
Every year about 25 of us go camping at the airport in Lake Placid. I bring the glider up one day, then go back the next with an A-Line camper (wife's not into tenting). The rule is if you can't make it back to the airport, put it in the lake; putting down in the woods is hazardous. Instructions are to leave the landing gear down when hitting the water, it rolls on the surface for a smoother landing (they say). I would leave it up, hit it hard and fast and shoot for a beach!

If you survive the water landing, you still have to outrun the crocodile:
