I wish I could find a bigger picture of this beast- one of my favorite land speed record vehicles of all time.
It's a full size tractor truck. And did 260+ mph. Amazing to see run

And I whole-heartedly agree on the drinking age thing.mtn wrote:Nah, not really. Besides my anger about "double standards" for women, I also think a lot of the "drinking age" stuff is nonsense. I had my first drink at a family wedding when I was 13..and the world didn't fall apart because of it. "Zero Tolerance" is really `zero thinking'. Good grief! They just won a gold at the freaking Olympics! *That* party should have been a lot better than any wedding I've ever attended..friedgreencorrado wrote:I thought that the E36 M3 storm came from some of them being under the drinking age? The drinking age varies by province. In Ontario, it's 19. In Quebec, it's officially 18 but really it's "well, as long as you're old enough to know what to ask for". This is based on a study done by many of my classmates in high school, growing up in Ontario but within walking distance to the Quebec border. I don't know about other provinces, I didn't grow up there.
ObHL. One of my own pictures, but it's on the salt during Speed Week so that counts for something.

One of the most famous GTA's, ever- this is a shot of Jochen Rindt winning the first ever Trans Am race, outright.
The crease in the door is where they rolled in in practice.
I love these cars. I love the older ones but these wide body early 70s cars are awesome - nevermind the tube chassis build on this thing. Drool fodder:
One more historic car- this looks like a total POS, but it's actually one of the first 105 cars to ever win a race- it's an early Giulia TI Super that won a 6hr race in Maryland. Very cool car to see in person.
