Nope, they aren't GI Joes, they are 'Action man' figures
Here's my complete collection of original Star Wars action figures:
Man, I loved the Hill's toy department in the late 70s/early 80s. And now, I've HAVE collected them all.
I saw this elsewhere and it doesn't stack up. I accept that English is the 3rd or 4th most widely spoken language, but only 328 million native speakers doesn’t pass the sanity test.
Top countries where English is the Native tongue followed by population in millions:
USA 321
UK (Duh) 65
Canada 36
Australia 24
Ireland 5
New Zelend 5
That’s 912 Million. Now you can make as many dumb joke about immigrants both legal and illegal not speaking English, but you can add 5 million Native English speakers in South Africa as well.

Thanks, Dad, for ruining my interest in GI Joes altogether. BTW, that was your $15 that went into the trash.
In reply to RossD:
On the subject of fire hazard toys, I had this dragon Transformer (Decepticon), I had to do some searching, it was called Cindersaur. It was basically a Bic lighter inside the toy, roll the wheel on the ground and it literally shot sparks out of its mouth.
Example of a TV show from my childhood:
There was all kinds of tie in crap; shoes, lunchboxes, shirts, you name it. Even plastic figurines, although the pics I could find on Google were only of later ones, basically reproductions.

Try not randomly multiplying your sum by 2, and you might be closer to the real answer... 456 million.

There is also a significant population of Canada in Quebec, New Brunswick and Onatrio that speak French as a 1st language, plus we have many people that would speak one of the First People languages, so you could probably drop about 10 million off the number for Canada.

And half of the US speaks something that is something similar to but not really recognizable as English.
"Lady, I only speak two languages, English and Bad English"
