Sadly, it was still not high enough to save the TR6. Hit home because I have been following the woman's thread where she restores the TR6 and swapped in the Miata engine for over a year. I think there is another classic under the TR.

Unless the water got deeper, that TR-6 should make it. Any TR-x that was submerged, I wouldn't necessarily kick out of bed (except a 7). But it sure would be priced accordingly.
Those louvers hurt the eyes. Need more parallel.
Do louvers really work?
Ive been wanting to put a big bellypan under my DD to see if I cant work on higher efficiency, but Im worried that it will starve engine-cooling airflow. I would need to give the air that enters the grille somewhere to go. Since I dont want it to go down under the car, I think over is another solution.
My wife and I were talking how are area (Raleigh, NC) seems to be moving towards a "dry winter, very wet summer" style of climate. We're already over average rainfall for the year. Irma is most likely going to drop some more on us.
I just hope that wherever it does hit, people take it as deadly serious as it seems to be shaping up.

Yeah, looks like the car is still wet up to about the top of the taillights. In fact, the taillights appear to still have some muddy water trapped inside the lenses.
So dry it out, and have a British car with electrical gremlins...
Will hotlink when I get to a Win7 computer.
Edit: Done hotlinking.

Not sure how people can put so much effort into an ad for a beater. Usually I feel like "It runs and I'm asking less than a grand for it" is all that needs to be said.
Breaking the mandatory hotlink rule because I'm too lazy to go get one this morning.
