That valve looks a little loose.
Yeah, it’s scrap metal. I did get a good valve cover out of it though.
And I restocked my M6 and M8 bolt collection.

No, we can't push the pistons back in the calipers. Yes, they need replaced.
Excavated from the new tomato patch in my backyard , that was formerly the Rindgmer Railroad Station in East Rochester New Hampshire . 
More items found during the same dig . A tube of something I can't identify, a rod with two square nuts , and a couple lumps of coal. I'm sure I will find more stuff like this when I dig my new string bean patch . Bean beetles keep destroying my original location . 
Could it even get that rusty driving on a salt water beach?

Today is April 29, that is a somewhat bare Boss 429 engine. Ford's second answer to the 426 Hemi after the SOHC 427 was deemed by Bill France to be too radical to be considered a "production" engine.
Granted, the SOHC was never actually put in a production car, so he was kind of right. The only way to buy one was over the counter. IIRC it was around $7000 in 1960s dollars, when any new Mustang was under $3k.
