Way cool, wouldnt' you love to plate that and drive it to work.  Kind of reminds me of the old Wolfrace Sonic, although only had two engines and was rear not AWD.  it was a six wheeler though.  I don't know if it got much press over here, but it was pretty famous growing up in the UK in the 70's/80's

My favorite is the Super Cat from Steven Spielberg's Always.

Friend of my dad was navigator/Bombardier on a Catalina in the North Atlantic during WW2.

He flew submarine Patrol for 2 years, never saw anything. Then, one day they dropped down out of the clouds and there was a German submarine right in front of them. It was a rare sunny day, and the German sailors were sunning themselves with their shirts off and doing laundry. 

They were right on top of them, so he got a really close look at the crew, before circling around.

They sunk the sub. He had nightmares about killing those men for the rest of his life.
