Thanks again, Google, for the tease. I can't *really* throw a rock, as it is buried, but I could've hit one of the workers when they were putting in the lines.

That's GOT to be somebody doing it on purpose because of the Darwin Award urban legend.
It has to be.

If that is a real thing, then I think fuse #2 is more stupider.

Sounds like the Ft. Smith assembled PPKs won't be vapor ware much longer.

I have Google Fiber, its nothing to write home about.  Big issues getting the signal throughout the house and its slower than my old cable modem.

That's a wifi router setup you need to address, not Google Fiber.   What's the speed if you plug directly into the modem?

Good.  Visual debunking of the "guy shoots himself in the leg with a .22LR fuse" urban legend.

How's the bullet going to go anywhere if there's no chamber/barrel to contain the pop?

Similar to the bulk ammo storage house fire myth.

Hollywood doesn't get physics right all that often.

It's generally so bad that I notice it when they get it sort-of correct.  For at least the past ten years, Average Joe could go to any number of video streaming sites and see actual collisions, explosions, you name it.  There's no excuse for Hollywood BS like a truck flipping over onto its side, and then accelerating until it overtakes a motorcycle that had passed it in the process of flipping, for example.  By the way they do physics, cars are solid blocks of granite with selective inertia.

Hollywood physics abuse is why when people see real things happening, like, for instance, the pancake structural collapse of a 1/4 mile tall building that someone decided to fly a plane into and set on fire, people shout "That is fake!  Buildings don't collapse like that!"
