There was a B-52 flying patterns outside my motel window this evening. Ugly beauty, imposing grace, Ancient cutting-edge. 'Merica.

Like a Miura with all the character sucked out of it. Sorry, I think I'm just coming to grips with the idea that I'm not as fond of the new-car-shaped-like-an-old-car-with-all-the-detail-stripped-off thing as I used to be. I think I actually just like the old cars, even if the new ones work better.
In reply to Ransom :
respectfully agree. but I don't think the world could build a Miura again. With the tort/congressional complex choking the little guy and a general regression from beauty in Western Civilization we have to take such things as the Nickel/Dime still born concept and the above rendition of a modern Miura.
In reply to nutherjrfan :
Well, I'm not going to get an actual Miura anytime soon, new or old. I have a new Mini, but I'm more excited about an old one. I've got a BMW 2002... I think what I'm accepting is that I'd rather have the originals anyway, so I don't have to wait for the companies to build new ones. They already built the ones I want. I just have to catch them at the right points in their value curves and patch them up, or modernize the bits that bug me.

My grandparents had a same year Granada but was a 4 door. This gives me ideas I can’t afford at this very moment.

There is a group called Austrian Death Machine that does songs based entirely on Arnold Schwarzenegger quotes. This is probably one of them.
Yep. From their first album, before they got more polished. Sounds like Fear Factory in style to me, but with a guitar solo.
And after they got polished, the main perpetrator went to jail for trying to kill his wife. And then the dinosaurs got too fat and they turned into oil.

Pha, that isnt' a Granada, this is a Granada. My parents had one the same color and year as this.
There was also a Coupé version
Then came the Mk II
Again, my parents had a red Estate (Wagon) version like this.
Then in the UK we got the Mk III which is what was sold as the Scorpio here and in Europe. This is the cool 24V Cosworth version
