One of the local FM morning crew sidekicks thought the song was the Wreck of the Ella Fitzgerald.

One of the Fitzgerald's crew had a red Dodge Challenger sitting at the dock waiting for him and his buddy to come back and take a road trip to California for the winter. The Challenger was featured in one of the Mopar mags this year. I didn't find an image of that particular Challenger, but it was similar to this one:
How many of these would I need to permanently erase that godawful song from my brain forever?

Yes, at 405 ft long the plaque on the wall states that it truely was the longest bar (serving counter) at least when it opened in 1989. The picture above shows the long back side of the bar, what it does not show is that on the other side there are 5 fingers the jet out. Each finger is about the size of the bar on TV's show Cheers.
Actually, in the first few years it was open it also had the distinction of being the largest handler of Miller Beer Kegs in the nation. There were 15 pour stations with about 50 total taps. In recent years they have gone to all bottle beer. One of the reasons was a design flaw. The kegs are in the back room walk in cooler and all the tubing runs under floor to the bar's 15 stations. In order to flush and clean the lines the equivilent of an entire kegs worth of beer would be drained out.
